Elyse Guanti’s Experience Working With American Management Services:
Back in the early fall of 2022, I was at my wits end. Making payroll weekly was a challenge and paying the bills almost impossible. After being what I deemed to be a successful small business owner for my entire adult life, I was in a position that I knew I couldn’t get myself, or my company out of.
I made the decision to have AMS come into my company and try to help get me and us on our feet.
I was not confident. I was frustrated, frightened and discouraged and AMS was in my opinion, the last chance before closing the company.
Chuck Riney, a mild-mannered man with a Southern accent was sent to us. He was no Clarke Kent and didn’t bring a cape. I wasn’t sure how his presence was going to change much but I was determined to follow his lead and put my confidence in him.
The changes we implemented thanks to Chuck and his perseverance were big, but Chuck helped make them feel small. One step at a time, one change at a time, one new implementation at a time.
The weeks turned to months and the doors were still open. This was some type of miracle, but we were far from out of the woods. I couldn’t sleep. I was stressed out and didn’t ever smile or laugh knowing I had to go to work.
But Chuck kept coming and kept plugging. AMS completed their work with us in March of 2023 and moved Chuck out of our office and onto his next client.
I kept up with the changes that we implemented under Chucks’ weekly supervision. Week by week, slowly we began to climb out of the debt we had been drowning in.
By the fall, we were halfway there. By the New Year, we were even further and I could see a light at the end of the tunnel. I decided it was time for a major change and sell the company.
Today, I called Chuck. I wanted to personally thank him for all of his time and efforts. EMG is no longer operating. Not because we went out of business, but because we were acquired by a larger company.
All of my employees have remained. We are successfully transitioning to a new way of doing things under new management. EMG and myself are out of debt. My employees are happy and relieved, as am I.
If you need AMS and are lucky enough to have them send Chuck your way, listen to him. Follow his lead. Make the changes he recommends. Hold the meetings, do the legwork, he knows what he is talking about. My thanks and appreciation to Chuck and the AMS team is hard to put into words.
He has helped change my life for the better. I am a happy employee where I am both valued and appreciated. I have a smile on my face and am happy to go to work again. Without Chuck and his help, I am sure none of this would have happened.
Chuck, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You were a life saver!
Sincerely,
