I would like to thank you for the services performed over the last 18 months by American Management Services, particularly by your Senior Consultant, Herb Bachelder. We were marginally profitable when the project started but knew we had issues in our organization structure, managing productivity, accountability, budgeting and managing the sales process.

Herb worked very well with our management team to develop procedures and implement processes and profitable solutions in the following areas:

Productivity Management and Flash Reporting: A Compliance Report is in use to monitor productivity in each department daily that measures actual performance against standards of performance. The Trend Report allows us to see improvements over a period of time, including Year-to-Date.

Communications: Management meetings continue to foster continuing coordination between corporate goals and department performance each week. These include executive and operations managers.

Sales Management and Compensation: A Sales Management program was implemented with sales and gross margin goals established for salespeople tied into the Predetermined Profit Plan and converted sales compensation that is now based on gross margins rather than sales. Sales Meetings have been implemented and are held bi-weekly.

Warehouse Staffing: We reduced our Temp Agency relationship after experiencing very high turnover and replaced it with direct hires who are more reliable and reduced total staffing spending.

Predetermined Profit Plan: We have implemented a Predetermined Profit Plan that reflects a significant increase in profitability. We expect to achieve an increase in profits of $3,000,000 over the next three years which represents a significant return on our investment on the program.
